MacxLabs Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Short Version
MacxLabs apps are built to work without accounts, rosters, or surprise data collection. Some free apps show non-personalized ads. Claw-ED connects to a teacher's own server and does not send lesson files or student data to MacxLabs.
What We Collect
Cascade, FactFall, Review Arcade, and Aced: these apps do not require an account and do not ask for names, emails, student records, or classroom rosters. App activity is stored locally on your device unless the app store, operating system, or ad network separately processes data under their own policies.
Claw-ED: the iOS app is a client for a Claw-ED workspace that runs on the teacher's own computer. MacxLabs does not receive your lesson files, prompts, generated materials, student names, or classroom data from the Claw-ED iOS app.
Website forms: if you choose to submit a teacher topic request or support form on macxlabs.app, we receive what you type into that form so we can respond or prioritize requested materials. Do not submit student names, rosters, grades, or private student information.
Ads
Some MacxLabs apps use Google AdMob to keep the apps free. Where ads are used, they are configured as non-personalized ads where supported. We do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and we do not sell personal data.
Analytics
macxlabs.app may record privacy-conscious page and click events so we can tell which public pages and app links are useful. These events are used for product and launch measurement, not student tracking.
Children And Students
MacxLabs apps are designed to avoid student accounts and student data collection. Teachers should not enter private student information into public website forms or app feedback fields.
